This Florence Nightingale Medal was awarded to Mrs Megan Crisp who saw service in Malaya with the Queen Elizabeth’s Colonial Nursing Service, 1951-56. The medal instituted on 16 May 1912 was bestowed on nurses who distinguished themselves by special devotion to, and nursing of, the sick and wounded in war and peace.
